This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply any of the products (Products) listed on our website www.mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk (our site) to you.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our site. You (The Customer) should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.


The price of any Products will be as quoted on our site, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order confirmation.


Payment is made via PayPal payment gateway. YOU CAN ALSO PAY WITH YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD AS A PAYPAL GUEST, YOU DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT. Follow the steps below:

Step 1: Choose your product.

Step 2: Add to cart.

Step 3: Proceed to checkout.

Step 4: Payment method is selected as PayPal.

Step 5: Fill in your details.

Step 6: Click PAY.

Step 7: You are transferred to PayPal payment gateway.

Step 8: If you have a PayPal account simply fill in your email and PayPal password.

Step 9: If you don't have a PayPal account click on Don't have a PayPal account? Pay with your debit or credit card as a PayPal guest.

Step 10: Payments are then processed by PayPal.

Credit card payments are processed by Stripe Payment Processing Services for Mimi & Mae on www.mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk, are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the 'Stripe Services Agreement'). By agreeing to these terms or continuing to operate as a customer on mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorise mimiandmaepapercuts.co.uk to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.


Changes to artwork can take up to a further 5 days to action.

Free of Charge – The following change requests will not incur any additional costs:

Colour change(s) to background or word colours.

Word changes: We understand that after you have placed your order you might realise that you have missed out a word or two. We are happy to add up to three additional words to your design free of charge.

Charge per Change – The following change requests will incur a £15 charge as these would constitute a full re-design: Complete re-design of layout and fonts used.

NOTE – Once you have signed off your design proof via email we will not be able to make any further changes.



FREE UK Delivery. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class post and is free of charge to mainland UK locations. Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you an order confirmation.

Papercuts will be delivered via Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For. Please be advised that this service requires a signature upon delivery. If there is not likely to be anyone to sign for the delivery, please use our Free Royal Mail Tracked service or have it delivered to an alternate address. If deliveries cannot be signed for they are taken back to the depot and need to be picked up in person from the Post Office or redelivered at a later date.


Please note we will not accept returns without prior agreement and will only accept returns due to damaged goods logged upon receipt and informed to ourselves with 14 days of purchase. When you return a Product to us we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the Product in full, not including postage costs. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.

Products are made to order and Mimi & Mae cannot offer a money back guarantee.


If a customer wishes to supply us with an image to use in a design, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that any image that they present for transformation into a print is copyright free or that the copyright is owned by the customer themselves. We will take no responsibility for any breach of copyright caused through printing an image supplied by a customer.

All website design, text, graphic and designs of the prints and or products within the site are under strict copyright © Mimi & Mae. You may not modify or replicate any item in any way without permission.

You are not permitted to copy (whether by printing off onto paper, storing on disk or in any other way), distribute (including distributing copies), alter or tamper with in any way or otherwise use any material contained in this website.


Please note we will try our best to ensure the closest match possible, however images and designs may vary slightly from the ones viewed on your computer.


We value customer privacy, working on a non-disclosure basis, and do not pass on client information to third parties (except for the needs of product delivery). In order to process an order we have to collect your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number (s). If you would prefer not to receive information from the Mimi & Mae on promotions please email hello.mimiandmae@gmail.com.


We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).

A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes in particular (without limitation) the following:

Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action.

Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.

Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster.

Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks.

The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time for performance for the duration of that period. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.


These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between us in relation to the subject matter of any Contract and supersede any prior agreement, understanding or arrangement between us, whether oral or in writing.


We intend to rely upon these terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them in relation to the subject matter of any Contract. While we accept responsibility for statements and representations made by our duly authorised agents, please make sure you ask for any variations from these terms and conditions to be confirmed in writing.


If any of these terms and Conditions or any provisions of a Contract are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.


We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in market conditions affecting our business, changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system's capabilities.

You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you order products from us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Dispatch Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Products).


Contracts for the purchase of Products through our site will be governed by English law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Only persons aged eighteen years or over may agree to these terms and use the web site or the services offered through the web site.
